So at the 2017 retreat we were challenged to take home a panel of fabric and bring it back as a completed project for a contest. Most of the year this panel sack pack to still with the 2017 retreat stuff and I didn’t look for it and I didn’t know what I was going to do with it. Sometime in December or January I decided what I was going to do with it and pulled it out and put it with some string blocks I had started and began to make a quilt! I had to request another panel and everything was down to the wire and I completed it at 6:30 PM on Tuesday and I was supposed to leave on Wednesday at 8 AM. It still wasn’t completed because I went to my friends house and washed it and found that there were three more arcs to quilt! Lol! So it was really finished like 11 PM Tuesday night! Went to quilting retreat In Phoenix Arizona with the “Valley of the Sun” quilters where I try to go every year :-) this year we had a mystery quilt and I just completed it. Laid it out on the floor. This picture makes it look like it’s very uneven on the bottom but I promise it’s pretty good! Was fun and scrappy—just my style!
